How Much Does Adopting a Patrol Robot Cost? — What Goes into the Quote
The robot's price alone does not decide it. The number of patrol areas, network condition, number of people receiving alerts, installation conditions and operating support all go into the quote. Here are the items that change the amount.

"How much for one unit?" cannot produce a quote. Which floors, how far, and who is notified come first.

Below are, item by item, the lines that appear on a quote. Amounts are not given. They vary with each facility's conditions, so we provide them as a separate quote.
1. Patrol area and number of floors
This is the item that makes the biggest difference. Patrolling the corridor of one floor and patrolling several buildings and floors call for different preparation.
- Number of floors and buildings to patrol
- Distance of one loop and number of patrols per day
- Whether the elevator has to be used
2. Network condition
It must stay connected across the whole patrol area. If it drops at the end of a corridor or beside a stairwell, alerts are delayed. Items arise depending on whether the existing Wi-Fi is enough or needs reinforcing.
3. Who receives alerts and the response order
Deciding who receives and who goes is closer to operations than to cost, but it enters the quote as setup and training scope.
- Number of people receiving alerts and the shift arrangement
- How what was checked is recorded
When a suspected fall is detected, a mobile notification (KakaoTalk notification, or Alimtalk) goes to the registered staff member. The delivery time once a fall is detected is within 30 seconds.
4. Charging spot and installation conditions
- The robot's charging spot (a location with power)
- Thresholds, slopes and passage widths
- Night entry and security procedures
If you have floor plans or photos of the corridors, we can check in advance.
5. Setting the video standards
This is an item we work out with the facility before the demo. The time spent deciding the video handling standard and how to inform residents and guardians goes into the adoption schedule. What has to be decided is set out in How Do You Set Video and Privacy Standards When Bringing a Robot into a Care Facility?
6. Scope of operating support
This is who handles what after adoption. If you write down separately staff training, patrol route changes and the scope of inquiry handling, it is easier to compare quotes later.
What should you tell us when requesting a quote?
- Number of floors and buildings, and the areas to patrol
- Night staffing and the current rounds
- Corridor Wi-Fi condition
- The robot's charging spot
- Who receives alerts and the response order
- The department responsible for video
With these six, a first quote can be prepared. If you would rather see it first before deciding, there is a 30-minute remote demo and a 90-minute on-site demo at your facility, and running it at your facility for a set period is discussed separately, together with the installation schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Can we get just the price of one robot?
Even for the same robot, the preparation differs with the patrol area and network conditions. If you tell us the six items above, we will give you an amount matched to those conditions.
Do we need one robot per floor?
We decide by looking at the number of floors, the distance of one loop and the number of patrols. We also check whether one robot can cover several floors.
Does this robot prevent falls?
It does not. It is a safety aid that helps staff quickly check situations where a fall is suspected, and judgment and response are done by staff.
Can it be used together with our current CCTV?
Depending on the site network and operating policy, the sensor configuration, such as the robot and fixed cameras, can be adjusted. The difference in roles is set out in How Do CCTV and an AI Patrol Robot Differ?
Next step
If you tell us only the number of floors and patrol areas, night staffing and the corridor Wi-Fi condition, we will match the items that go into the quote. If you have floor plans or photos of the corridors, please send them too. To check the features and conditions of use before requesting a quote, see the nursing home fall alert AI robot page.
