How Much Does a Cleaning Robot Cost? What Goes Into the Quote

The quote is set by site conditions, not by the price of a single model. Cleaning area and aisle width, floor material, daily working hours and the number of robots, and optional accessories such as an automatic fill-and-drain station all go in. This post lists the quote items for the LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro and R5.

The quote is set by site conditions, not by the price of one model. A quote for a commercial cleaning robot includes the cleaning area and aisle width, the floor material, the daily working hours and the number of robots, and the optional accessories. That is why we give prices as a separate quote that fits the site.

Below, using the LionsBot autonomous scrubbers we supply, the R3 Scrub Pro and the R5, we list the lines that appear on a quote. No amounts are given.

1. First, decide which model

Sites with many narrow aisles and wide common areas call for different models.

  • R3 Scrub Pro — A small scrubber with a 570mm body width. Its main sites are aisles between shelves, warehouse routes and narrow corridors
  • R5 — A model aimed at replacing the walk-behind scrubbers that workers push. It is designed to clean up to 5,000㎡ of wide common area on a single charge

The criteria for choosing a model are in What Should You Check on Site Before Adopting a Cleaning Robot?

2. Cleaning area and aisle width

The area to be cleaned at one time and the narrowest aisle decide the model and the way of operating. If the area is beyond one charge, it becomes a setup with several rounds or several robots, and the makeup of the quote changes accordingly.

3. Floor material

Check whether the floor is hard, or whether carpet or mat areas are mixed in. The floor type in the official R5 specifications is hard flooring. Separating the areas the robot will clean from the areas to be planned separately makes the scope of the quote clear.

4. Daily working hours and number of robots

When, for how long, and with how many robots. The R3 Scrub Pro is listed as running up to 3 hours and the R5 up to 4 hours 20 minutes. Once you decide the number of robots from the working hours and the number of zones, that becomes the base line of the quote.

When using several robots, we also look at how they are managed, such as the R3 Scrub Pro's multi-robot management in the mobile app and the R5's function for running by dividing zones.

5. Optional accessories

The same model changes in makeup depending on the accessories attached.

  • R3 Scrub Pro — Automatic fill-and-drain station (Refuel Station), charging station, 3D LiDAR (optional), MagicTag, brush and squeegee blades
  • R5 — Charging station, Refuel Station, 3D LiDAR, H13 HEPA filter, MagicTag, brush pads and squeegee blades

For example, the makeup of the quote differs depending on whether a person fills and empties the water or an automatic station does it.

6. The equipment in use now

If you tell us the specifications of the scrubber you use now and the number of workers, comparison becomes easier. For the R5 in particular, we review it as a replacement for walk-behind scrubbers, so looking at the cleaning width and working hours of your current equipment helps judge whether it is suitable.

What should you tell us when requesting a quote?

  • Cleaning area — ㎡ for each zone
  • Width of the narrowest aisle
  • Floor material
  • Daily working hours — Start and end times
  • Specifications of the scrubber you use now and the number of workers
  • Whether water filling and draining should be automatic

Frequently asked questions

How much does a cleaning robot cost?

It depends on site conditions and is given as a separate quote. The model choice, the cleaning area and aisle width, the floor material, the daily working hours and number of robots, and the optional accessories are reflected in the quote.

Should I ask for a quote on the R3 Scrub Pro or the R5?

If you have many narrow aisles, look at the R3 Scrub Pro first. If you need to clean a wide common area for a long stretch at once, look at the R5. If you tell us the area and aisle width, we will give a quote for the fitting model.

Can I add accessories later?

Which accessories to add and when is something we confirm in the consultation along with the site conditions.

What should I measure before asking for a quote?

Measure the cleaning area of each zone, the width of the narrowest aisle, the floor material and the daily working hours, and the quote will come faster.

Next step

Send us the area, aisle width, floor material and daily working hours, and we will first tell you which model to narrow down to. The price is given as a separate quote that fits those conditions.
